Hi orchid growers. As we head into February, depending on what hemisphere your live in, it is handy to have a checklist of things we need to do with our orchids.
Southern Hemisphere
In the Southern Hemisphere, we are in the hottest parts of summer, and need to take special care of our orchids to ensure they make it through.
I have done some research, to find a checklist of things we need to do, and there was not a lot available for the Southern Hemisphere.
One of the best sites I have found, is the American Orchid Society (AOS) website, where there is a wealth of orchid information.
The AOS has a great checklist for July/August, which equates to the January/February summer in the Southern Hemisphere. When you read it, just keep this in mind. Otherwise, it is a great checklist.

Northern Hemisphere
The Northern Hemisphere is in the last month of what has been a very cold winter, and hopefully our orchid growing friends have been able to bring their orchids through this tough period.
Again, the American Orchid Society has and great checklist for you to follow, to help look after your orchids during this cold season.
